Why it looks so small on Instagram
Instagram draws a profile photo in a small circle. The file it keeps is bigger: up to 1080 × 1080, the original. That's the one you get here, square, without the circle.
Private accounts too
A private account keeps its posts, stories and follows for the people it accepted. Its profile photo is different: Instagram shows it to everyone, in full size too. So it opens here like any other account's, along with the name and counts, which are public too.
Then: who do they follow?
Under the photo of a public account, FollowBell shows how many accounts it follows, and a free preview tells you how many are women and how many are men. Turn on alerts, and you hear about each new follow.
Questions people ask
Straight answers, including the ones that are no.
How do I see an Instagram profile picture in full size?
Type the username in the box above, or paste the profile link. The photo appears at its original size, up to 1080 × 1080 pixels, with no Instagram login.
Can I see the profile picture of a private account?
Yes. Instagram shows a private account's profile photo to everyone, so it opens here in full size like any other. Its posts, stories and follows stay private: no site or app can show them.
How do I download an Instagram profile picture?
Look the account up above, then tap Download: the photo is saved as a JPG named after the username. On a phone you can also press and hold the photo to save it. FollowBell keeps no copy.
Will they know I looked at their profile picture?
No. Instagram doesn't tell anyone who looked at their profile or their photo, and here you don't even log in.
Why is the photo small or blurry?
Because that's how it was uploaded. Some people upload a small photo, and Instagram keeps it at that size. The size is written on the photo, and we never blow it up.
What size is an Instagram profile picture?
Instagram keeps profile photos at up to 1080 × 1080 pixels and shows them much smaller in the app. This viewer gives you the largest size Instagram has for that account.
Is this profile picture viewer free?
Yes. No account and no payment. To keep it free, each visitor can look up a limited number of new accounts a day, and accounts other people looked up recently always load.
